International Technology Transfer Network

The institute has established in-depth cooperation mechanisms with Belt and Road co-building countries such as Serbia and Malaysia, and has been integrated into the Chengdu-Chongqing regional international technology transfercollaborative network. The Belt and Road Intelligent Connected New Energy Vehicle Innovation Alliance Initiative led by the institute has received positive responses from countries including Ethiopia, Serbia, Slovakia, Russia, Laos, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Portugal. All parties are willing to jointly participate in the alliance construction to promote international cooperation and market expansion in the field of intelligent connected new energy vehicles.

China (Chongqing)—Serbia Technology Transfer Center: Officially inaugurated at the Chongqing International Talent Exchange Conference in November 2024, it is co-built by Harbin Institute of Technology Chongqing Research Institute, Chongqing Academy of Science and Technology, andScience and Technology Park Niš of Serbia. The center aims to promote technology transfer and industrial upgrading between China and Serbia in fields such as intelligent manufacturing, smart agriculture, new energy vehicles, and bioengineering. It has established a database of Sino-Serbian technology project supply and demand information and a database of scientific and technological talent resources, and has successfully held multiple brand promotion conferences and academic seminars.

The China-Serbia Aerospace Technology Joint Innovation Center: Jointly initiated and established by the institute and the Belt and Road Institute，Belgrade in December 2025, the center carries out regular cooperation in aerospace technology fields such as collaborative technological innovation, technology commercialization, and joint training of high-level talents.

China (Chongqing)—Malaysia Technology Transfer Center: In June 2026, the China (Chongqing)-Malaysia Technology Transfer Center was officially launched for construction. As the leading construction unit, the institute cooperates with Universiti Sains Malaysia, the The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia, The Malaysia-China Silk Route Business Chamberand China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd., and was simultaneously awarded the title of the node undertaking unit of the Chengdu-Chongqing Area Belt and Road International Technology Transfer Center in Malaysia.
