Research Center Profile
The Research Center for Smart Energy Storage Technology has a team of 25 members, including 3 professors and associate professors. The center is led by Professor Wang Jiajun, Doctoral Supervisor, a national-level high-level talent. He also serves as Head of the Department of Electrochemical Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology, Deputy Director of the Institute of Special Chemical Power Sources, and recipient of the Chongqing Outstanding Youth Fund. The center is equipped with nearly 70 industrial-grade facilities, including a pilot-scale laboratory for key battery materials, a complete pilot production line for pouch-type batteries, and a comprehensive battery testing laboratory. It can undertake full-chain development tasks ranging from battery materials to battery cells. The center has filed 50 patent applications, among which nearly 25 patents have been granted.
