Research Center Profile
The team mainly conducts research on material surface-interface modification. In recent years, the team has undertaken more than 50 research projects including the National Key R&D Program, Key Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and key R&D programs of national ministries and commissions. Its research achievements have been successfully applied to multiple spacecraft models such as Tianwen, Fengyun, Haiyang and environmental satellites.
Core Technologies
1. Ultra-black High-absorptivity Coating
With the advancement of new-generation remote-sensing and high-resolution detection satellite technologies, higher requirements have been imposed on extinction coatings for optical systems. To address technical bottlenecks of existing stray-light suppression coatings such as low absorptivity and high volatile content, the team has developed an ultra-black high-absorptivity coating. It has been successfully applied to the production of optomechanical structures including satellite hoods and star trackers for multiple satellite models.
2. Molecular-adsorption Thermal-control Coating
Targeting typical application requirements for molecular-adsorption thermal-control coatings under extremely harsh service conditions, research is carried out on coatings integrating adsorption and photo-thermal modulation functions. The influence of processes on the adsorption-desorption behavior, absorption properties and thermal-control performance of coatings is revealed, yielding molecular-adsorption thermal-control coatings with high adsorption capacity.
