Leveraging the strength of Harbin Institute of Technology’s motor discipline, the center targets the development and industrialization of high-performance, precision and special-purpose motor systems. Focused on major national needs including new-energy vehicles, aerospace and high-end equipment manufacturing, it develops high-efficiency, highly-integrated and intelligent motors as well as drive-and-control systems, contributing to sustainable innovation and development.
Core Technologies
It owns core development capabilities for high-power-density and high-efficiency motor controllers, enabling high-precision and high-dynamic control of permanent-magnet motors and induction motors together with high-quality software development.
It delivers comprehensive capabilities covering design and development of high-efficiency permanent-magnet synchronous motors and brushless DC motors, multi-physics-field simulation analysis of electromagnetism-thermal-acoustics coupling, performance calculation as well as test and verification.
It is competent in hardware design, testing and validation of power electronics, capable of developing products such as high-efficiency motor controllers, onboard chargers and power supplies, with proven mass-production experience.
